“The criminal, like the artist, is a social explorer.”

I’d like to start the little description of this great innovative artist with this phrase that talk itself.

In an interview that I found on designtaxi.com he says:

“It was never my intent to be well known, I just did what I enjoyed and was passionate about, and it’s worked out pretty well. Better than I ever would have imagined, and i feel really fortunate for the way my career has gone. Graphic design has always felt more like a hobby to me than work.”

I believe that this is what make a designer stand out, when is like that you can work for night and nights but it will always be a pleasure.

Going back to where everything started, David Carson didn’t get in touch with graphic design until his thirties  when he undertook  a 2 weeks course, a series of other course followed until in 1983 when he went in Switzerland to a workshop directed by Hans-Rudolf Lutz that he deeply got influenced by. Back in Us he directed different magazine related to skateboarding, surfing until he got to the art direction of Run Guy that brought him to international attention.
